I have very much enjoyed my time as Acting Head Teacher at Windmill Hills and I will be sad when I leave in July.

The children are a delight. They are thoughtful, charming, and welcoming. Staff and pupils have worked very hard to raise attainment and significant progress has been made in a very short time. The parents are supportive and help the school with anything we ask.

The school building is modern and well maintained with excellent facilities. It has one of the most fantastic views in Gateshead, looking down over the River Tyne.

I envy the future head teacher of Windmill Hills, there is a huge amount of potential here and I'm sure the school will go on to acquire a wonderful reputation.
